R&D Assistent
Wat ga je doen?
Solarge, an emerging producer of polymer-based solar panels, is looking for an R&D Assistant to strengthen their research and development team. You will actively assist and be involved in optimizing existing products and developing new ones. You will join a team of 6 people where you will support and analyze improvements taking place in the laboratory. For example, you will prepare projects and assist during these projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining lab equipment and coordinating maintenance and service activities;
- Conducting regular analyses and quality controls for the solar panels and communicating these results to the team;
- Ensuring that lab rules are respected by stakeholders (safety, order, and cleanliness);
- Preparing for visits from external stakeholders;
- Weekly measuring of standard solar panels to ensure equipment stability, and administratively processing these results.
It's a diverse role where technical affinity as well as administrative knowledge comes in handy. You will be actively involved with the solar panels to further investigate and realize improvements. To ensure this process runs smoothly, it's important that you can process this data in Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD. Data processing will account for approximately 25% of your workday, while the rest of the time you will be operational. Additionally, attention to detail is crucial, as customers and colleagues need to trust your analyses and conclusions.

Wie ben je?
- You have an MBO working and thinking level, preferably with a technical background;
- You have analytical and problem-solving skills;
- You are eager to learn and would like to understand the lab equipment and solar panels.
Wat mag je verwachten?
- A gross monthly salary between €2,400 and €2,650 per month, depending on your knowledge and experience;
- A travel allowance of €0.30 per kilometer from 10 kilometers one way;
- This is a full-time position, part-time 32 hours is negotiable, Monday is a mandatory working day because that is the start of the week. Your working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but starting earlier is also an option;
- Do you want to work directly with the client? Then this is possible! You will start with a fixed-term contract;
