We are looking for Operators for a large production company in Lomm who are eager to acquire new skills. As an Operator, you will first undergo a training program of approximately 1.5 years to master the basic principles and processes. In your role, you will be responsible for various production support tasks in a 3-shift system (from 6:00 am to 2:15 pm, from 2:00 pm to 10:15 pm, and from 10:00 pm to 6:15 am). As an Operator, you will have diverse tasks, making the work engaging and the time fly by. You will go through the entire process, from packaging to shipping orders, and ensure smooth operations along with your team.
The company specializes in heat treatment, heating and cooling metal to strengthen its structure. They do this for various products, from everyday to specialized, using different processes. As an Operator, you will operate various production lines, making you ultimately versatile. Please note that it can be warm in the factory due to the large ovens.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Gathering and sorting products according to procedures;
- Carefully assembling batches;
- Performing cleaning tasks;
- Performing various tasks such as blasting, insulating, soldering, leak testing, etc.;
- Placing products on a conveyor belt, with or without assistance;
- Internal transport and loading of products for shipping according to instructions.
You will start as a production worker until you have mastered the skills of the trade. As mentioned earlier, this training program lasts approximately 1 to 1.5 years, after which you will be a fully-fledged Operator capable of independently managing the production line.
In the first week, you will always work in day shift to get to know your colleagues, the company, and the process, after which you will be assigned to shifts. You may start in 2 shifts for a while, but the ultimate goal is always to transition to the 3-shift system.

Specializing in treating metal parts to enhance their strength or achieve other desired properties, this company utilizes state-of-the-art ovens to conduct nearly all known treatments at a very high level. Located in Lomm, the company is easily accessible from Venlo and Venray.

Our ideal candidate is someone who excels in teamwork, is flexible, and highly motivated. Additionally, it's important that you:
- Speak and write English and/or Dutch fluently, or are willing to learn the Dutch language;
- You are technical and have a passion for working in an production environment;
- Have ambition and the skills to progress to the role of operator;
- Are comfortable with heavier work in a warm environment.
