Wat ga je doen?

As a logistics worker at DHL, you and your coworkers are part of the whole sorting process and make sure that every day, every person in the Netherlands receives their ordered product! Do you enjoy taking on challenges and staying active all day long?

As a Warehouse Operator at DHL, you work three shifts. It means a weekly variation in the service. You have three shifts: day, evening, and night. As a DHL Zaltbommel logistics worker, it is your responsibility to make sure the packages arrive on the belt and in the right gutter. Packages are dispatched from Zaltbommel to every City Hub in the vicinity before being delivered to clients by the delivery staff.

Shift times:

Day shift: 07:00 – 15:00
Evening shift: 15:30 – 23:30
Night shift: 23:30 – 07:30 

Your activities include:

• Place packages on the sorting belt;
• (Un)loading trucks;
• Remove packages from the sorting belt and place them in a rolling container.

Who are you?

If you are fluent in Dutch or English and have personal transportation such as a car or a bike, you can apply for this vacancy. We offer parttime of fulltime functions, you can specify which days and times you are available. We offer Dutch classes or ITM certificates if you are employed for more than six months. As a logistics worker at DHL Zaltbommel your tasks will be diverse and dynamic.

Waar ga je werken?

DHL Zaltbommel is the largest HUB for the benelux in the Netherlands. We can handle 40,000 packages per hour, ensuring that everyone gets their ordered products on time. The location is close to the freeway exit (A2) and thus easily accessible from 's Hertogenbosch, Tilburg, Oss and Tiel. We have plenty of free parking spaces at our disposal as well as a secure bicycle shed. We work 27/4 in this warehouse, and the shift times are between 07:00 - 15:00, 15:30 - 23:30 and 23:30 - 07:30. These can change weekly but you can also work one of the shifts.

You will receive a contract with Olympia temporary employment agency. Olympia has an Inhouse office inside the warehouse. We are here Monday to Friday from 8:30 - 17:00. As an Olympia employee, you can therefore easily drop in on us with any questions you may have and we are also easy to reach by phone.

Wie ben je?

• Availability of at least 3 days a week;
• You are physically fit, the packages can be heavy;
• You live near Zaltbommel and have your own transport;
• You speak Dutch and/or English.

• Gross hourly wage: €13.27, excluding allowances;
• Extra allowances for evening, night and weekend work;
• Holiday pay of 8.33% and 10% holidays, based on your hours worked;
