Operator Petrochemistry

Are you interested in technology? Do you enjoy performing specialized tasks and potentially being further trained internally? Then we are looking for you!

You will operate temporary equipment to drain, fill, heat, circulate, clean, and dry petrochemical installations. We follow a plan from the work preparation department, with a detailed work instruction that you carefully adhere to. Together, we work towards a safe and successful outcome.

Your main tasks include:

  • Monitoring and adjusting important process parameters such as temperature, pressure, concentration, and flow rate during operations; 
  • Discussing the progress and measured values with our clients' operators; 
  • Setting up, connecting, disconnecting, and removing temporary installations such as piping, pumps, valves, hoses, heat exchangers, boilers, compressors, and circulation and storage tanks.

Our client, located in Waalwijk, is an independent company that focuses on efficiency, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable solutions. With various specialized departments, they offer innovative services. The Industrial Cleaning department excels in decontaminating factory installations using highly effective techniques. In the Projects department, they refurbish air handling units and make them more sustainable. The Services department is responsible for the maintenance of air handling units and cooling machines. It is a family-owned company with a pleasant, laid-back work atmosphere.

Wie ben je?

In addition to a valid driver's license B and own transportation, the following is expected of you:

  • Completed MBO education, such as VAPRO A or B, process technology, or Intermediate Laboratory Education level; 
  • Willingness to work in the evenings and on weekends; 
  • Occasional willingness to work abroad; 
  • Possession of a VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one; 
  • Experience in petrochemistry is an advantage but not required.

At this company, specialized work is performed, which is why you will receive internal training to further develop yourself. Additionally, external training opportunities are provided, such as SIR Chemical Technical Operator, working with respiratory protection, flange fitting, and other important safety training.
