Are you looking for a challenging logistics position in Venlo in day shift as a long-term order picker? Then read on quickly!
For one of our clients in Grubbenvorst, an all-round specialist and international supplier of fruit and vegetables, we are looking for several order pickers/logistics employees. Due to the current growth and potential growth of operations, they are looking for colleagues.
The main duties consist of:
- Collecting the orders (fruits and vegetables) with an EPT;
- Preparing orders for transport on time;
- Occasionally helping with loading and unloading the trucks.
The work takes place in day shift. You generally start work at 9:00 a.m.; there are few or no orders before then. As a team you make sure that all orders are ready for transport on time. On average you work until 6 p.m., but you may occasionally have to work overtime if the orders are not yet ready. You will of course get paid for this.
Of course you start with a thorough training program and you will have a buddy who will teach you all the tricks of the trade.
Waar ga je werken?
Our client is an international supplier of fruits and vegetables with their own cultivation as well. They have a wide assortment of about 1500 products. Despite this wide assortment, they guarantee the quality of these products and have the strictest quality needs and requirements. Despite the growth that this client is experiencing, they also fully understand the need to invest in staff. They therefore want to create a working environment for employees so that they enjoy working here, both in terms of conditions and also physically.
The company is located at Freshpark Venlo, easily accessible from the A73 from the directions Venray/Nijmegen/Cuijk and Venlo/Roermond.
Wie ben je?
- You can communicate well in Dutch or English;
- Being able to handle physically; some crates with products weigh +/- 20 kg;
- Being able to work in a cold environment (+/- 5 to 10 degrees Celsius);
- A valid EPT certificate is a strong plus, if you don't have one, you can get it through Olympia before you start;
- Work experience in a warehouse or warehouse is a plus, but not a must.
Wat mag je verwachten?
- A starting salary of €14. 85 gross per hour in accordance with the collective labor agreement with plenty of room for growth;
- A travel allowance for commuting to and from work;
- You accrue 25 vacation days and 8.33% vacation allowance for full-time employment;
- From day one you will accrue pension through the StiPP pension fund;
- You start on a temporary employment contract through Olympia with the possibility of taking over if you perform well;
