We’re looking for a fearless metal cutter to join a well-established Belgian company that has been a staple in the metal recycling industry for over 80 years. You’ll be on the front lines, turning massive steel components into smaller, transportable pieces. No suits, no desks – just honest, hands-on labor.

What makes this job stand out? You’ll have a lot of autonomy. No micromanagement here – you’re trusted to get the job done, your way, as long as it’s done safely and properly.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Cutting oversized metal parts into smaller sections
  • Using a gas burner for cutting, either outdoors or inside a facility
  • Ensuring all cutting work is done safely and accurately
  • Managing your workload independently

Wie ben je?

  • You’re comfortable working outdoors in a rugged environment
  • You enjoy working independently and take pride in your work
  • You have experience or confidence handling fire and metal
  • You’re physically fit and enjoy active, outdoor work
  • You’re motivated to keep learning, especially in operating machinery like bulldozers or cranes

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • €15.74 per hour
  • Full-time position (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30
  • Pension scheme from your first day, travel compensation from 10 km, and 8.33% holiday pay
  • 25 paid vacation days plus all Belgian public holidays
