Do you love heavy-duty work, sparks, and steel? Then keep reading.

We’re hiring a bold metal burner for a Belgian company with over 80 years of experience in metal recycling. Someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty and work with fire. You'll be cutting large pieces of metal into manageable chunks for further processing. No office stuff here – just real, hands-on work.

What’s great about it? You get a lot of independence. No supervisor breathing down your neck. You know what needs to be done – and you’ll get the freedom to do it your way, at your pace, as long as the job gets done right.

What will you be doing?

  • Cutting large metal parts into smaller pieces
  • Working with a gas torch, often outdoors or in a warehouse
  • Performing safe and precise cutting work
  • Organizing and carrying out your tasks independently

  • You enjoy working outdoors in a tough, practical environment
  • You thrive when working independently
  • You know how to safely handle fire and heavy materials
  • You’re physically fit and don’t mind working outside
  • You’re eager to grow your skills over time, especially in operating heavy machinery like cranes and bulldozers

Wat mag je verwachten?

What we offer

  • Hourly wage of €15.74
  • 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
  • Pension from day one, travel allowance from 10 km, and 8.33% holiday pay
  • 25 vacation days (and off on all Belgian public holidays)
  • Lots of freedom and trust in your role, and a stable, long-term job
