Logistics Coördinator Samsung SDS

Do you have a positive and enthusiastic mindset? A passion for logistics and a strong motivation? For the warehouses from Samsung situated in Tilburg we are looking for a person who will serve independently as main contact for Samsung SDS's key customer for a period of 6 to 9 months with a possibility to extend. You will be  responsible for monitoring the operations and customer service and make changes in the system. You will monitor in-transit shipments and check all related documents such as Custom Documents(IM4)/Release Nomination in Portbase. 

As logistics coördinator you will be part of the Transport Team. Your key activities will be:

• Manage/monitor all in-transit shipments and adjust systems CELLO/Excel/Portbase
• Chase pending shipments
• Take corrective actions towards Shipping lines/Carrier when agreed performance is not met
• Analyse logistical issues/problems and come up with workable solutions
• Solve complaints/anomalies
• Pro-actively inform Supervisor/Inbound Manager

Wie ben je?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A Logistics Bachelor/Master degree (at least common ground with logistics)
• A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in sea freight transport
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• An assertive personality
• an eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
• Constructive problem solving skills
• Team player abilities
• the potential to build strong relationships with stakeholders involved
• The ability to prioritize multiple requests and responsibilities in a fast paced environment
