Facility Coordinator

About the Role

As a Facility Coordinator, you will support operational activities and ensure they are executed in accordance with facility standards. You play a key role in coordinating facility-related processes and maintaining effective collaboration between internal departments and external suppliers. Your goal is to ensure smooth, safe, and cost-efficient facility operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities


  • Support RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes by requesting quotes and negotiating service and maintenance contracts with suppliers (e.g., packing machines, equipment, cleaning, catering, workwear, energy, waste management, pest control).

  • Act as the point of contact for on-site mechanics, suppliers, and support services.

  • Coordinate services performed by external suppliers to ensure optimal service levels at favorable costs.

  • Report irregularities to the Facility Supervisor or Warehouse Manager and initiate appropriate corrective actions (internal or external).

  • Actively contribute to and follow up on the RI&E (Risk Inventory & Evaluation) action plan.

  • Work in accordance with work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Your Profile

  • Basic knowledge of a (complex) logistics environment or willingness to acquire this knowledge.

  • Good command of Dutch and English (both verbal and written).

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach.

  • Positive and enthusiastic mindset.

  • Flexible and solution-oriented problem solver.
