Wat ga je doen?


At AS Watson, as a warehouse employee, you are an indispensable link in the logistics process. Thanks to your efforts, products such as shampoo, toothpaste, and hair dye are delivered to stores, including Kruidvat, on time every day. You collect orders using an electric pallet truck (EPT) for larger and heavier goods. You will pick smaller items manually. Don't have an EPT certificate yet? No problem — we offer you the opportunity to obtain one, as long as you are willing to learn. You will work with a modern voice picking system, receiving and confirming instructions via a headset. That is why it is important that you have a good command of Dutch or English. The position is a two-shift job: one week you work from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the other week from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. In addition, you are available to work at least two Saturdays every four weeks. You will be scheduled for these shifts based on the schedule and workload. During your work, you will receive guidance from team leaders and experienced colleagues. There is plenty of attention for your development and career opportunities. You can easily view your schedule via an app, where you can also submit leave and vacation requests. In addition, we are regularly on site to support you.






Waar ga je werken?


You will be working at AS Watson's modern distribution center in Heteren, conveniently located between Arnhem and Nijmegen. This international retail organization is characterized by an open and informal working atmosphere. This is reflected in the direct communication, collegiality in the workplace, joint activities, and the spacious, cozy cafeteria. All Kruidvat and Trekpleister stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France are supplied daily from this location. You will work with a diverse team of colleagues who are jointly committed to ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to the stores. Wie ben je?

  • You are 17 years of age or older and in good physical condition.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic warehouse environment.
  • You speak fluent English or Dutch.
  • You are willing to work shifts (with irregular hours compensation).
  • You are reliable, have an eye for detail, and are motivated to work full-time.
  • You live near Heteren or can easily get there by car, bicycle, or public transportation.

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • You will receive a gross hourly wage of €14.71, excluding an ADV allowance of €1.07 per hour (from the age of 21). This means you will earn €15.78 gross per hour without allowances for irregular shifts.
  • Travel expenses are reimbursed from 10 kilometers one way.
  • For irregular shifts, you will receive allowances of 25% to 50% on top of your hourly wage, depending on your shift.
  • You will accrue 8% vacation pay. 
  • Accrual of vacation days.
  • Pension accrual starts from your first day of work.
  • If you perform well, there is the possibility of a permanent position.
