Without the right tools, everything stops. You make sure they're there.

As a Tool Store Operator, you're responsible for the tool store. You ensure that engineers always have access to the right equipment, at the right time, in perfect condition. From issuing tools to calibration: your work is essential for a safe and efficient maintenance process.

What your day looks like

You manage the day-to-day operations of the tool store. You issue tools, check them back in, and make sure everything is calibrated and inspected on time according to strict aviation standards. You work closely with the head of logistics and other departments to keep the maintenance process running smoothly.

You'll be working for a well-established name in the aviation industry. Located at Maastricht Airport, this maintenance company has over 35 years of experience in servicing regional jets and turboprop aircraft. With around 200 employees in Maastricht and nearly 100 colleagues worldwide, you'll work in a professional, international environment where efficiency, safety, and sustainability are key.

Wie ben je?

  • A completed MBO-level education or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment
  • Basic mechanical or technical knowledge
  • Experience working with databases
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • You work accurately, proactively, and can handle deadlines
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends
  • You're a team player

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • €2,800 to €3,300 gross per month, depending on experience
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (max. 30 km one way)
  • 8% holiday pay, 25 vacation days + 13 additional days off (ATV)
