As a technical team member or E/W mechanic, your daily mission will be to ensure the smooth operation of some of the most splendid trains. Your tasks will be varied, including the assembly of train components, system wiring, electrical tasks, and more. All of these activities will be carried out at our client's premises in Blerick.
Throughout your training period, you'll receive guidance from experienced colleagues who will share their expertise. Moreover, there's ample opportunity for advancement, potentially leading to roles as an electrical or mechanical mechanic down the line. If you already boast experience in these capacities, you can seamlessly transition into this role, broadening your scope of responsibilities. Your duties will encompass:
- Maintaining installations under the mentorship of experienced colleagues.
- Executing repairs and adeptly diagnosing issues.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and records of completed tasks.
- Conducting initial checks at the onset of your shift.
This is a full-time position in day shift from 08:00 to 16:30, with the occasional possibility of overtime, to be discussed as needed.

Our client, a technical company headquartered in Nijkerk, expanded its operations with the acquisition of a new facility in Blerick in 2020. They've embarked on a project in collaboration with the Dutch Railways (NS) and are currently in search of technical experts to join their team. Committed to achieving optimal uptime at the most economical lifecycle costs, the company's core activities revolve around the maintenance and repair of rail vehicles and associated systems. They provide comprehensive services to transportation companies, maintenance providers, and manufacturers, ensuring round-the-clock support for their clients, either on-site or within their own workshop. The specific project you'll be involved in centers on the repair and overhaul of approximately 150 NS trains, entailing part replacement and repainting.
Situated adjacent to the railway, the Blerick facility offers easy accessibility via bike, car, and public transportation. They provide a travel allowance, facilitating convenient commuting for individuals residing in the municipalities of Roermond, Venray, and Peel en Maas.
