As a Continuous Improvement Engineer you will work closely with the CI Manager on setting up, rolling out and securing improvement programs within this production location. With your keen eye and hands-on mentality, you will help them reduce waste and increase productivity.
Your daily tasks:
- You identify and analyze improvement opportunities in production processes;
- You support and coordinate CI initiatives, based on Lean and TPM;
- You coach and train colleagues in improvement methodologies;
- You monitor progress and results and translate data into concrete actions;
- You actively contribute to realizing a culture of continuous improvement.
It is a day shift position, Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 17:00.
Waar ga je werken?
The company specializes in making pet food and offers a clean, highly automated work environment. The work atmosphere is informal, with colleagues working together in a friendly manner. There are approximately 70 employees at the Ittervoort location. Ittervoort is one of the locations where production is run to make the pet food. Due to growth within the organization, they are looking for long-term reinforcement!
The organization is easily accessible from cities such as Roermond, Weert, Venlo, Peel en Maas and Sittard-Geleen. The company is accessible by car, there are plenty of (free) parking spaces available on location. In addition, there is a bus stop located on the business park, so depending on where you live it is also possible to travel to the location by Public Transport.
Wie ben je?
- You have a bachelor degree in a technical direction, such as mechanical engineering, food technology, engineering or similar;
- You have at least 2-3 years of work experience in a similar position, preferably within the food industry;
- You have experience with TPM, Lean and Six Sigma (Green Belt level is an advantage);
- You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
- You have a good command of both the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
- In addition, within this position you will be traveling to other European factories several times a year, e.g. twice a year.

Wat mag je verwachten?
- A gross monthly salary between €2,750,- and €3. 250,- gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience;
- A year-end bonus of 6%, the choice to take this per month or at the end of the year;
- A direct contract with the client in service is one of the possibilities;
- A full-time position in day shift for 40 hours per week, 32 hours is negotiable;
