As an administrative officer at the DHL Customs department, you play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with customs legislation and the smooth running of logistics processes.

As an administrative officer at the Customs Department, you are responsible for the accurate processing of customs declarations, in line with applicable laws and regulations. You follow the work instructions and pre-established procedures, closely monitoring the progress of both open and completed declarations. In addition to processing these declarations, you maintain regular contact with operational teams and customers to inform them of the status. You also provide support with (physical) customs checks and ensure the correct handling of all documentation.

We are looking for a communicative and driven personality with a strong focus on quality, and experience in administrative and IT-related work.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of Customs documentation.
  • Resolving issues related to Customs related goods and shipments.
  • Maintaining regular communication with Dutch Customs authorities regarding issues with your Customs declarations and in case of Customs checks.
  • Creating (month-end related) reports.

You'll be working from Monday to Friday on a day shift. This is a full-time position with stable contract hours based on your performance and long-term development potential.

Waar ga je werken?


You'll be based at DHL Supply Chain's headquarters, located on Anderlechtstraat in Eindhoven. The site is easily accessible by public transport, car, or bicycle. You will be employed through Olympia, and our team is available daily from 8:30 to 17:30 via phone or email to address any inquiries or to schedule an in-person visit.

Wie ben je?


Good knowledge of the English language – both verbal and in writing. Good knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage.
Full-time availability.
Familiarity with logistics processes is advantageous.
Used to working with computer software with experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Living in or around Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Uden, or Veghel.
