Logistics administrative assistant

Wat ga je doen?

You will be working as a logistics administrative assistant at a client in the area of Echt. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, planning, administration and communication of the processes that focus on handling and processing order activities that arise from customer contact. 

You manage the planning and perform administration of outbound shipments:

  • Coordinate shipments with order management
  • Create shipping documents
  • Communication on shipments with the warehouse. You will work closely with the Warehouse and other internal stakeholders
  • Both physically and systematically handling special shipments, taking care of Replenishment and preparing shipments

Managing and executing Import & Export:

  • Customs and expert documentation
  • Managing documents within the logistics administration
  • Point of contact for transaction related / customs related issues
  • Communication with internal and external customer service and freight forwarders

They work for sectors including healthcare, education and data centers. The location in Echt is easy to reach from Weert, Echt-Susteren, Brunssum and Sittard-Geleen. They are also accessible by public transport.

Wie ben je?

You describe yourself as accurate, a team player and you have a strong character. In addition, you meet the following requirements:

  • Familiar or affinity with a warehouse system and MS Office;
  • You have a good command of the English language and speak basic Dutch;
  • You are available full-time (38 hours) from Monday to Friday;
  • Physical handling is not a problem for you.

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • A long-term job in a collegial team;
  • A starting salary of €15.48 gross per hour based on 38 hours. Do you have more relevant work experience? Then a higher salary is negotiable;
  • Travel allowance of €0,23 per kilometer, maximum 30 kilometers one way;
  • Pension accrual from the first working day;
  • With good performance an opportunity for permanent employment with the client.
